Anjac Health & Beauty Develops North American Presence through APR Beauty Acquisition

Anjac Health & Beauty, a French company strengthens its North American with the strategic acquisition of APR Beauty, which enhances its capabilities in beauty, health, and wellness industries. 

In taking a major step towards promoting its presence in North America, Anjac Health & Beauty through APR Beauty, a well-known Canadian maker of turkey makeup and skincare solutions. APR Beauty was found in 2019an based in Toronto, has quickly established itself with wide range of services including formulation, manufacturing and filling. The company specializes in variety of technologies including powders, hot-pouring, emulsions and gels, serving both local and international brands.

The acquisition includes APR Beauty’s services and facilities, including a newly renovated 100.000-square-feet production site and a 20,ooo-square-feet Research & Innovation laboratory will open in 2025. This expansion made will significantly strengthen Anjac Health & Beauty's manufacturing capabilities in North America, by supporting its growth regional strategy.

According to the annulment made, "Irene Zheng and John Shen, co-founders of APR Beauty, will continue to play pivotal roles as shareholders." Zheng, the President and CEO, confirmed her dedication to enhancing APR Beauty's development following the acquisition.

Anjac Health & Beauty's acquisition of APR Beauty demonstrates the company’s plan to expand its expertise into new markets. With a portfolio of 16 companies, 22 manufacturing sites, and over 3,200 employees globally, the French industrial company expects a consolidated turnover of EUR 800 million in 2024, as well as EUR 40 million credited to APR Beauty.

The acquisition builds on Anjac Health & Beauty's previous strategic changes in North America, which included its successful integrations of Canadian companies Apollo and Pillar5 in 2022. This recent changes for development strengthens Anjac Health & Beauty's position as a major global supplier capable of providing comprehensive solutions across beauty, health, and wellness industries.
