The eSIM Hub developed by BICS becomes a platform that simplifies IoT deployment worldwide by providing instant connectivity functions and regulatory compliance across 190+ nations.
BICS presents its eSIM Hub which serves as a new orchestration platform to make worldwide IoT connectivity simpler. This platform serves original equipment manufacturers and other IoT businesses to solve deployment problems resulting from permanent roaming limits and network management fragmentation.
Through its single interface users can manage IoT device profiles while performing operator network switches. The alliance between BICS ' "SIM for Things" IoT solution and their platform provides unified management, billing and connectivity functions to IoT devices in more than 190 countries and over 700 operators.
The platform uses eUICC SIM cards together with over-the-air provisioning to enable devices for automatic network switching between global and local networks. The platform enables standardized results in performance together with protected data practices while satisfying regulatory requirements of particular regions.
BICS has synchronized the eSIM Hub platform with the upcoming GSMA IoT standard SGP.32 that features an eSIM orchestrator role. The step positions BICS as the global leader of IoT innovation.
According to Luc Vidal-Madjar who leads IoT and roaming solutions at BICS the eSIM Hub dissolves all barriers and boundaries within IoT environments.
According to Proximus Global's Christophe van de Weyer this innovation functions as a major breakthrough which streamlines international IoT implementations while providing novel business potential to enterprises.
