Celebrating Open Source Achievements in India – Red Hat APAC Innovation Awards 2024

The winners of the APAC Innovation Awards 2024 were announced in India by Red Hat, which honors organizations that leverage open source solutions to drive transformation.

Red Hat APAC Innovation Awards 2024 for India winners announced by Red Hat, Inc., the leader in open source solutions. This year, Red Hat has recognised the National Stock Exchange India Limited, Bank of India (BOI), Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited and Tata Motors for their innovative usage of Red Hat solutions to address evolving business needs.

The Red Hat awards recognize organizations creatively using open source tech to transform amid rising costs and business demands. 'Unlock what’s next' theme showcases winners leveraging Red Hat solutions in AI adoption.

According to Red Hat’s 2024 Global Tech Trends report, 27 per cent of APAC global enterprises struggle with integration as they try to digitally transform. The awards focus on five key categories: Cloud Native Development, Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, Resilience leading organisations in Digital Transformation.

They selected winners based on exemplary use of Red Hat solutions, for contributions to their business objectives. An example is NSE using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform to reduce operational time, and BOI using Red Hat OpenShift to build a mobile banking service.

The Red Hat APAC Innovation Awards is a contest to recognise the preeminent function of open source in giving enterprises throughout the country the ability to adapt, automate and evolve.
