To make cities smarter, Uttar Pradesh spends ₹1,750 crore on infrastructures such as parking, solar lights and health ATMs.
Yogi Adityanath and the Uttar Pradesh government will boost the infrastructure in seven major cities with modern methods and technologies. In the following two years, urban living in Ayodhya, Mathura-Vrindavan, Gorakhpur, Shahjahanpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Firozabad will improve after the government provides ₹1,750 crore for improvements.
There are upgrades such as intelligent parking spaces, ITMS to fight traffic jams and solar energy lighting to be more environmentally friendly. Residents will be able to watch their important health parameters with the aid of new Health ATMs.
The plan deals with city issues by using technology and green energy in its services. Total community mobility and security will increase thanks to digital parking helpers and smart traffic lights and residents will be healthier as more senior care centers and public gyms are added.
Roughly ₹250 crore will go toward updating infrastructure in each city, mainly involving smart roads, green energy and better health facilities. Due to delays caused by government processes, officials have decided to extend the timeline, indicating that these projects are top priorities.
The public's continuous feedback on potential improvements will play a crucial role in shaping these changes. With its smart infrastructure program, Uttar Pradesh is showing India how cities can be updated in a better, more sustainable and livable way.
