UA Little Rock news director Angie Faller was recognized for earning the APR credential, demonstrating strong skills and sincere commitment in public relations and communications.
Angie Faller, news director for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, just achieved Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Faller’s accreditation demonstrates her devotion to excellence in public relations and her skills in planning, honesty and industry understanding. Faller pointed out that the APR achievement highlights how dedicated she is to her profession which she found both hard and fulfilling.
Faller, who was brought to UA Little Rock in 2016 and became news director in 2019, has played an important part in boosting the university’s communications. “Angie’s commitment to UA Little Rock and her strategic approach are shown by her earning the APR designation, according to Dr. Phillips, the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer.”
Being involved with ARSPA Arizona She has earned her APR by completing the APR Ready-to-Roll Program. It gives professionals the opportunity to strengthen their public relations skills through mentoring and workshops.
For more than five years, Faller has developed expertise in writing, editing, using social media and dealing with the media. The university has been distinguished at the national level by CASE District IV for her achievements.
She has shown UA Little Rock’s dedication to effective public relations and given others in the field a valuable example.
