National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) of Australia has issued tender for a cloud platform to assist the agency to deliver Australia’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). To support its core operations, NDIA is using the IT platform supported and delivered by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Along with that, there is a DHS-hosted SAP CRM solution to record participant information budget information and personal details. NDIA stated that its existing solution allows providers to make claims for products or services which will be reimbursed by the agency. As the NDIA matures along with that, there is a strong need for improving the business capabilities to meet the areas of campaign management, case management, and event management.
NDIA wants to engage with its stakeholders to make sure that accessibility will remain at the forefront of all NDIA interactions. The solution must be able to meet the non-core demands of the agency, so additional capabilities must be added. Limited support of the present SAP CRM brings the need for procuring a cloud platform. The new platform must integrate with DHS SAP to allow the flow of information between two solutions. At the initial stages, the cloud platform will be used to develop portals for case management, campaign, and event management.
