Project W is empowering women founders to scale their food and beverage brands with a comprehensive accelerator program.
In a bid to elevate women-owned food and beverage brands, Project W, in collaboration with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP's Food and Beverage practice, has announced the selection of its 2024 cohorts for the Emerging Food Brands Lab accelerator program.
Founded in 2016, Project W has been dedicated to assisting women founders in growing their early-stage businesses. The lab's rigorous selection criteria aim to identify 8 to 10 women founders leading teams of two or more, with branded food products in the market, a successfully raised seed round, and the potential for scaling to a Series A, along with consistent monthly recurring revenue.
The multi-week hybrid program, set to run from May 7 to June 11, is spearheaded by Davis Wright Tremaine LLP’s Food and Beverage practice. It offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to empower women founders in the food and beverage sector. Participants will gain insights into scaling production, optimizing distribution networks, raising capital, and other vital aspects of business growth.
The Emerging Food Brands Lab accelerator program stands as a testament to the commitment of Project W and Davis Wright Tremaine LLP to championing women-led food and beverage ventures, providing them with the resources, mentorship, and network needed to thrive in a competitive marketplace.
