Montreal-based AI company, Element AI, is being acquired by ServiceNow. Element AI will enhance ServiceNow’s capability in the intelligent workflow space. With Element AI onboard, ServiceNow will enable employees to work smarter and faster, streamline business decisions, and unlock new productivity levels.
Element AI is a pioneer in the AI industry. It was founded in 2016 by CEO Jean‑Francois Gagné, Anne Martel, Nicolas Chapados, Jean‑SebastienCournoyer, YoshuaBengio, and Philippe Beaudoin. It has world-class scientists on its team who are capable of applying modern AI to chat, images, search, queries, and summarizations. The integration of Element AI will accelerate AI innovation in the Now Platform. The acquisition is a great investment for ServiceNow as it will enhance the capabilities of the Now Platform. Element AI is ServiceNow’s fourth acquisition in 2020.

Element AI Co-founder and Lead Fellow, Dr. YoshuaBengio will serve as a technical advisor for ServiceNow.
