Companies need to know the location and condition of their goods, especially in transit - a huge challenge for traditional software-only supply chain solutions. Tive’s combination of always-connected sensors and cloud-based software gives companies the visibility they need, enabling alerts, reporting, and analysis on their inbound and outbound shipments across all modes of transport. Tive was founded to help companies take the surprises out of their supply chains through true end-to-end visibility. This isn’t just a hardware problem – it’s also software and a services problem. To solve it, we need to understand how the modern supply chain works.
Location Tracking for High-Value Goods
Tive has developed a proprietary sensor + software solution enabling supply chain managers to get real-time insight into the location and condition of their shipments.A multi-sensor tracker sends location and condition data to the cloud, where it can be accessed from the Tive software platform in real time.Managers can configure customizable alerts to trigger notifications based on geofences or other significant events. When it comes to shipping critical materials or equipment, timing is everything. An early arrival may mean no one is available to receive the shipment, while a late arrival can result in field installation personnel billing for a wasted trip. Lack of coordination between the shipping and receiving teams leads to excessive cost, waste, and delay.Tive helps ensure that equipment arrives before the installer with real-time asset location tracking. With precise insight into the location and expected arrival of critical goods, including notifications if the shipment is not proceeding according to schedule, managers can cut waste and improve efficiency along complex, interdependent supply chains.
Chemicals Condition Monitoring
Monitor the condition of sensitive chemical shipments and get notified if shipment integrity is compromised in any way.Tive has developed a proprietary sensor + software solution that helps supply chain managers monitor chemical shipments while in transit.A multi-sensor tracking device monitors temperature and shipment integrity, and sends the data to the cloud where it can be accessed in real time from the Tive software platform.Configure real-time alerts to notify you as soon as a temperature excursion or shock event occurs, and use Tive’s cloud-based analytics to gain insight into the root cause of the issue. When transporting a shipment of chemicals, a temperature excursion or improper handling can be disastrous, leading to damaged and potentially harmful product that poses risks to equipment, facilities, and people. But once the shipment leaves your facility, there is no way to monitor its condition en route, and if it does get damaged, you don’t know when or where the damage occurred.Tive provides real-time visibility into the condition of your goods, notifying you as soon as excessive temperature or shock is detected. With immediate insight into potential damage, you can fix a temperature setting, send a replacement shipment, or warn your customer right away. In addition, you can identify exactly when and where the damage occurred, and adjust your route accordingly for future shipments.
Damage Alerts for Electronics Shipments
Avoid damage to your sensitive electronics shipments with configurable tilt, vibration, and shock alerting.Tive has developed a proprietary sensor + software solution that enables supply chain managers to get real-time alerts if their shipments are damaged in transit.A multi-sensor tracker tracks shock, vibration, and orientation, and sends the data to the cloud where it can be accessed from the Tive software platform.Configurable real-time alerts notify you as soon as the shipment experiences shock, vibration, or other potentially harmful activity.Electronics and other fragile products must be handled with care to avoid damage caused by shock, vibration, or tilt. If a shipment is jostled, the product can become irreparably damaged, and the manufacturer may not know about the issue until the delivery. Once damage is discovered, the manufacturer still may not know when, where or how the damage occurred. With Tive’s comprehensive tracking solution, you know not only that damage has occurred, but also exactly when and where, making it easy to identify the source of the problem and implement a targeted solution. Real-time damage alerts enable manufacturers to send replacement shipments right away and/or notify customers in advance.
