Privafy – Offering a transformative, cloud-native solution for today’s most critical point of workload security

Privafy’s security-as-a-service application secures data wherever it travels. The company’s cloud-native technology integrates all the functionality of traditional point solutions, such as encryption, firewall, DDoS protection, IDS/IPS and DLP technology, to provide comprehensive data protection as it moves between locations, clouds, mobile devices, and IoT. Deployed in minutes, Privafy works seamlessly with existing infrastructure to protect organizations of all sizes against today’s most damaging data-centric attacks, all while disrupting the cost associated with complex, archaic network solutions.

A complete Data-in-Motion security stack

Privafy is a cloud-native, security-as-a-service solution that provides the ‘must-have’ capabilities a next-generation security service requires. With clone-proof endpoints and a fundamentally new encryption scheme, Privafy enables inbound/outbound controls and policy enforcement (including compute-intensive tasks like content inspection without any application-level impacts). Privafy solutions provide comprehensive data protection in all of today’s distinct user modalities, as data moves between locations, clouds, mobile and IoT devices at the edge. The Privafy service is designed to give you unparalleled protection against the broadest spectrum of attacks and threats, including:

  • Defending your network with inbound controls and content screening to prevent attacks like viruses, worms, and malware
  • Protecting your services from unauthorized remote access attacks like man-in-the-middle or unauthorized surveillance
  • Securing your Services from DDoS and malicious interruptions like Bot or Zombie attacks
  • Data loss prevention and keeping your data safe from outbound violations caused by rogue employees or unauthorized access

MicroEdge: With the arrival of 5G will come a wave of billions of Internet-connected devices, known collectively as the Internet of Things (IoT). These IoT devices will serve a dizzying array of applications, from airplane sensors to heart monitors to virtual reality headsets. Despite their different applications, IoT devices share a common need for secure data-in-motion. MicroEdge delivers that security in a micro-sized footprint so small that it can be embedded on a semiconductor chip. IoT devices have unique design considerations in terms of their size and power consumption. MicroEdge is built specifically for this environment, with a micro-sized form factor that allows IoT device manufacturers to embed MicroEdge in a wide variety of devices, from smart locks to tiny sensors. Unlike traditional SSL-based encryption, which has known vulnerabilities, MicroEdge features Privafy’s patented Absolute Encryption™ technology. This delivers two-way encryption to protect data-in-motion between IoT devices and data centers via IoT gateways and hubs.

PrivafyCentral: It is your window into data-in-motion security, with dashboards and alerts that give you real-time, at-a-glance information across your entire Privafy security presence. Manage security policies, and more all securely accessed from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. PrivafyCentral’s dashboard screen delivers the security vitals you need to maintain good security health. It tracks every Privafy product in your system, anywhere in the world, and displays your security health and events through an intuitive, visual design. The dashboard also displays information in map view and list view. Map View displays device health and information based on geographic location, while List View presents information for each Privafy product in your network, including health status and recommended actions.

The Monitor tools in the PrivafyCentral dashboard provide real-time, at-a-glance information on the security status of the Privafy products in your network. These tools include a Traffic Stats widget that displays the amount of internal and external traffic passing through your Privafy data-in-motion security system and a Threat Stats widget that shows the number of detected and mitigated threats over the last four days.

CloudEdge: With Privafy CloudEdge, your business can connect to any cloud, physical work environments, or mobile devices with confidence, control access to critical applications and data in the cloud, and enforce security policies consistently as your data moves between the cloud and on-premise environments. And because CloudEdge automates these security services, manual errors are virtually eliminated. Privafy CloudEdge is a cloud-native Security-as-a-Service solution that ensures secure connectivity between the cloud and your business—even if users are accessing your cloud applications from a non-secure network. As enterprises migrate their on-premises workloads in the cloud or add resiliency with cloud data centers, CloudEdge allows them to maintain secure connectivity between the two locations.

AppEdge: With more people than ever working from home, enterprises must adopt a zero-trust network stance. AppEdge allows enterprises to secure data-in-motion on mobile and fixed devices beyond their corporate firewall with a simple, powerful security app. With AppEdge, workers can easily establish a secure, encrypted connection to the corporate network or hosted/private cloud from any device: smartphones, laptops, tablets, desktops, and more. AppEdge protects business communications by establishing a secure point-to-point connection between Privafy CloudEdge and any authorized mobile/remote device. Multifactor authentication ensures that only authorized AppEdge users can establish a connection with their business’ network or cloud environment. Enterprise network policies are enforced during the connection to prevent users from accessing unauthorized files. With enterprise-class security features such as content inspection, AppEdge prevents users from accidentally or intentionally transmitting malicious traffic while they’re connected to a network. AppEdge integrates easily with Active Directory to allow enterprises to enforce role-based access controls for a large, distributed workforce.
