Q.ai — Providing Premier Access to the World's Top-Performing Private Investment Strategies

Today, millennials are taking a lot of interest in investing. Be it stock, crypto, or any other form of investment, everyone is much more curious to learn and invest. Especially since the pandemic, people have realized the importance of diversifying their portfolios and have growing wealth for a secure future. With the digital and fintech revolution, investing is becoming much more accessible to it ever used to be before. However, due to busy lifestyles, most people don't get time to research much about investment assets and strategies.

Q.ai, a Forbes Company, specifically aims to solve this problem by powering a personal wealth movement, using artificial intelligence and advanced quantitative techniques to revolutionize investment possibilities. Q.ai is an award-winning app that explores themed investment kits, providing access to diversified, dynamic, and top-performing private strategies. We interviewed Stephen Mathai-Davis, the Founder & CEO of Q.ai, to understand more about the company. Here are a few excerpts of the interview:

Q. How does Q.ai power a personal wealth movement?

Q.ai democratizes investing by bringing all of the top-performing private strategies to the public. We call these strategies our Investment Kits. We offer several core Signature Investment Kits: Value Vault, Power Factor, Emerging Tech, and Global Trends. One of the biggest benefits of Q.ai is that after selecting your Investment Kits, you don't need to actively manage your portfolio of kits. Each kit is constantly working to optimize performance, reduce risks and maximize returns. Our kits are stacked with different combinations of ETFs, stocks, and cryptocurrencies—and then rebalanced weekly for maximum efficacy. We also offer AI-managed Downside Protection that automatically goes to cash or hedges against the S&P 500 if our deep learning algorithms predict a market sell-off. Basically, Q.ai bridges the gap between traditional robo-advisors andthe mobile-first DIY investment apps already in the market.

Q. How do your models work?

We use a hybrid approach where we have a multi-dimensional approach. First, we have an ensemble of many models that help us determine the best stocks and ETFs to own at any given point. After that, we have another set of models which determines the best weights and allocations. Think about it this way: We have models talking with models to create the best possible investment outcome.

Shed light on Q.ai easing the approval process.

Right now, Q.ai is only available to US citizens and residents. We are considering expanding internationally.

Q. How proud do you feel about featuring in Forbes, Business Insider, Entrepreneur, and many others?

We are thrilled to be highlighted in so many distinguished media outlets. It is a testament to the company's vision and how it is resonating with the general public. We like to say we are just a bunch of rebels and dreamers trying to power a personal wealth movement. Our passion is to help the average person realize their financial freedom by democratizing access to institutional-grade investing. It is certainly a lofty goal, but we are passionate about our mission and believe it is a key part in fighting the growing wealth inequality divide in the US.

Q. Tell us about your effort behind being an award-winning platform.

It is a great honor to be recognized so early in our company's lifecycle. The fact that so many leading awards platforms have shown appreciation for what we are doing is truly inspiring and further motivates us to continue pursuing our company mission. I am even more excited about where we are taking the company in the future. We have a lot of incredibly cool and unique products that we plan on launching soon.

Q. Where do you envision your company?

We are a new type of asset-management company—a natively digital investment-management company for the 21st century. Unlike other investment companies, we are building Q.ai with Millennial and Gen Z investors in mind. Our focus is on building investment solutions that actually resonate with younger investors rather than recycling old and outdated strategies.

This aligns with our product vision to build a platform that empowers individuals to realize their financial freedom by democratizing access to investing tools once only available to high-net-worth individuals. We are calling this new paradigm, Asset Management 2.0.

Q. Do you have any plans of expansion?

At this time, we have a singular focus on delivering high-end investment solutions to the US market. We are considering international expansion in the future but, for right now, our focus is on expanding our current offering in the US to include Investment Kits covering both options and cryptocurrencies.
