KPMG Australia announced financial results for the year to 30 June 2022, posting record revenue of $2.341 billion, which represented a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 16%.
KPMG Australia’s financial performance in FY22 reflected better-than-expected growth across the firm. In a year that saw KPMG invest at record levels in people and business, the firm’s overall profitability increased by 8%. KPMG’s equity partner incomes rose by 1%, consolidating significant growth over the past five years and a 14% increase in pre-COVID levels.
Presenting the results in his first year as CEO, Andrew Yates said the firm had delivered record financial performance in the past 12 months as it emerged strongly from the COVID-19 pandemic. The result reflected a remarkable effort by KPMG’s teams and what they had achieved together, delivering impact for their clients through a fantastic breadth of work.
CEO Yates added he was very pleased that they had cemented strong partner profit growth on pre-COVID levels and strengthened the reward for their people. All of KPMG’s operating businesses reported impressive growth, reinforcing the benefits of its refreshed strategy and the firm’s multi-disciplinary offering for clients.
