Apple continues building retail stores regardless of people’s choice

Apple has now decided to open more stores despite customers preferring to buy online. The iPhone-maker does not seem to be affected by the change, and is more enthusiastic to announce about opening more physical stores.

Apple mentioned that online stores are just to give information about the new arrivals, but it becomes essential for the people to visit physical stores to get the feel of Apple products and rejoice shopping. Apple at present has around 500 stores across the globe, among which 100 stores are in Europe alone.

Apple retail stores are not common, earlier the company opened a store very unique; the store sits directly on the water. The all-glass dome gives a 360 degree view of the city, the structure comprises of 114 pieces of glass. This architecture is inspired from Pantheon in Rome, an oculus located at the apex of the dome and it offers a flooding ray of light that travels through the space.

The interior of the glass is lined with custom baffles; each gives a distinctive look balancing sun angles giving a nighttime lighting effect.
