Equate Group is a leading producer of petrochemicals in Kuwait and it partners with SAP to enhance company’s global business growth.
According to a report by Accenture, in the competitive petrochemical industry atleast 94% of executives expect to raise investment in digital capabilities over the coming three years.
“For this initiative, we drew up three goals: Enhance productivity, rapidly enter new markets and support sustainable growth,” said Faisal Malallah, IT Leader, Equate Petrochemicals. “With our digital transformation on the SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud, we now have the cloud solutions that can integrate and simplify our global systems, enhance our customer experience and drive business competitiveness. Equate is an innovation leader in Kuwait, and we are fully supporting the New Kuwait 2035 economic growth goals.”
Equate Group across Europe, Kuwait, North America produces over 5 million tons of ethylene related products a year. Ethylene glycol is a thick liquid used as antifreeze in making polyester fibers and Equate Group stands second largest producer.
In the future months, Equate will adopt SAP S/4 Hana real-time business suite. This suite supports supply chain, financials and warehouse applications.
