The integration with PayPal will let Linktree customers connect directly to their PayPal account and receive payments directly via PayPal.
Linktree, which allows convenient sharing of multiple hyperlinks to a landing page, has partnered with PayPal to enable global implementation of the Linktree Commerce Links for payments. The company announced that the integration would let creators make frictionless transactions wherever PayPal operates. Users will also be allowed to take tips and donations and take requests.
With this integration, customers will now be able to make payments through PayPal easily. Also, they will be able to access more data on transactions details. Linktree’s Commerce Links allow users to accept payments directly on their Linktree profile without redirecting to another webpage. The integration with PayPal will let Linktree customers connect directly to their PayPal account and receive payments directly from their followers or customers via PayPal.
Commerce Links support two types of payments links. One is “Support Me Link,” which allows Linktree users to collect payments or donations, while “Request Links” is meant for requesting goods and services directly from the customers.
“As the creator economy grows, creators want new ways to collect payments and support from their audience with as little friction as possible. We are excited to collaborate with PayPal to further expand our solutions to our users globally and enable them to further manage and monetize their digital presence,” said Alex Zaccaria, Co-Founder, and CEO of Linktree.
