IBM has entered a deal with six European businesses to develop AI, blockchain and analytics in association to IBM’s Cloud infrastructure. The value of these deals remain undisclosed and come after the company announced its plans of expanding its services to more regions of Europe.

The deals include partnerships with Koopman Logistics from Netherlands, Italian publisher Gruppo 24 Ore, RS Components from the UK, Teckel Medical, French Credit Mutuel, and Osram AG the German lighting MNC.

Enterprises across Europe are gravitating to the IBM Cloud because it helps them modernize their existing infrastructures by gaining access to exciting technologies like AI, blockchain, IoT, analytics and more,” said Sebastian Krause, General Manager IBM Cloud Europe.  “At the same time, these companies know they can trust us with the security and privacy of their enterprise data – a crucial differentiator in the current era.”

IBM had announced 18 new availability zones across Europe, Asia and North America earlier. IBM’s efforts on expanding its services are materializing with deals with these six companies and it will further leverage the IBM Cloud business. IBM’s familiarity in the ever-expanding terrain of cloud platforms is helping businesses across Europe to partner and grow.
