Microsoft 365 has some news to announce. The tech firm has announced a new way for businesses to purchase Office and Windows through Microsoft 365 Enterprise. This new software combines Office 365 Enterprise, Windows 10 Enterprise along with Enterprise Mobility and Security feature into a single subscription.
In addition to 365 Enterprise, Microsoft is also rolling out 365 Business. The Microsoft 365 Business includes Office 365 Business Premium which has features of security and management for both Office apps and Windows 10 devices. While Microsoft 365 Enterprise will be available for purchase in the month of August, Microsoft 365 Business will only premier in August and roll out later in fall.
The Office 365 Business will include all of the Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Publisher. It also comes with access to 1TB of One Drive for Business cloud storage. This is where users can edit and share documents various devices including Windows PC, Mac, iPad, Windows Tablet and a smartphone. On the other hand, the Office 365 Business Essentials includes some of the core services required to run your business. This includes the business class email and calendaring, Office Online, online meetings, IM, Video conferencing, cloud storage and file sharing. The Office 365 Business Premium comes as the cherry on top with features from both of the above.
The announcements were made at the Microsoft Inspire Conference. Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft also discussed the company’s work with various partners and some of its plans for the future.
