Best Buy now has the authority to repair Apple products at all of Best Buy’s retail stores. Genuine parts and authorized repairing is done at Best Buy now, that’s fully backed by Apple. You don’t need to go searching for an Apple store for repairs anymore!

Best Buy was previously repairing Apple products, but was limited to only select stores. Now, with the large scale expansion, as many as 1,000 stores will have access to Apple repairs. In a press release, Apple says: “Best Buy’s Geek Squad has nearly 7,600 newly Apple-certified technicians ready to make same-day iPhone repairs or to service other Apple products.”

With Best Busy in the picture now, Apple may also begin replacing the third-gen keyboards with 2019’s revamped version; something that Apple has been speeding up for its MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro laptops. In most cases, Apple is promising a next-day turnaround.

Also, Best Buy recommends its customers to take an appointment for same-day iPhone screen replacements to drop off their devices before 6 PM. If the necessary stocks are in store, then you’ll get your device back the same day. Or since you’re in Best Buy anyway, you might as well browse through the store till the work is done!
