The software giant, Google, has recently rolled out a new ‘call screening feature’ for all its Pixel phones. The feature cannot be called ‘new’ as it has already been introduced on some specific Pixel models way back in 2019.
Receiving spam calls is a matter of concern as it puts the privacy of the users at stake. So, to address this mass concern, Google has developed an automatic call screening feature.
The call screening feature was first made available on Pixel 3 back in 2018. In the following year, the feature was updated to ‘automatic call screening’ and was introduced in Pixel 4. And now, Google has made it available on all its Pixel phones.
This feature is available in the Call Screen tool. The feature flashes a ‘Screen Call’ option along with ‘answer’ and ‘decline’. The user can use the feature, whenever they suspect a call to be spam, by just clicking the ‘Screen Call’ option that allows the Google Assistant to answer the call and speak on their behalf.
Although the feature is available in all Google Pixel phones, it has got few more additional features to offer to Pixel 3 and Pixel 4 users.
