As a part of the SAP SuccessFactor, it plans to sell OpenText’s end-to-end HR document management system. SAP’s SuccessFactors Extended employee content management (ECM) will help businesses keep all their documents and other resources in one place. It claims that it will enable businesses to take control of their employee management and boost HR efficiency and productivity by centralizing all resources.
“Helping companies manage their essential employee records through a single, cloud-based source is a significant step for companies wanting to more effectively manage an increasingly global, digital workforce. SAP SuccessFactors Extended ECM by OpenText offers HR professionals a solution uniquely designed to help reduce the time and complexity associated with document management”, said Adam Howastan, chief marketing officer at OpenText.
The platform assists the HR staff through a search facility to find the documents they need on demand. In addition to this, it also offers a creation of new documents such as contracts using templates, which speeds up the on boarding process. Almost everyone can use this platform, including managers, employees, and who are in need to access to employee documents. Extended ECM can access documents on demand, with managers alerted if employees haven’t completed the relevant documentation within the stated deadline.
With the rate businesses are expanding, it is certain that the workforce will expand too, on a global level. And if the HR needs to spend hundreds of hours manually storing, managing and retrieving employee documents, then it is going to be burdensome for the company. With SAP SuccessFactors Extended ECM, the company is trying to achieve its commitment to help customers achieve efficiency and accuracy as they operate on a global platform.
