Bosch and Huawei tie up to design an IoT offering

Bosch Software Innovations and Huawei collaborate to make Bosch IoT Suite available to Chinese IoT customers on Huawei Cloud. The IoT software will help in data sharing across many digital services and business models. Bosch IoT Remote Manager is the service name and it will take control of gateways, sensors and devices. This is the first service provided to Chinese consumers through Huawei Cloud.

Bosch Software Innovations has its offices in Shanghai and Nanjing. The company has been actively working for China since 2012 and has effectuated some IoT projects from Industry 4.0 to connected transportation.

Bosch chose Huawei Cloud to refurbish its FOTA that is vehicles firmware over the air. This solution will probably be available to millions of connected cars in China in the forthcoming years.

The two companies jointly are working on developing an integrated end-to-end IoT offering. Huawei is designing IoT hardware gateways that will be pre-configured with Bosch IoT Gateway software which will be controlled by Bosch IoT Remote Manager to function on Huawei Cloud. The development will help customers with thorough IoT solution that is easy to use.
