IBM and AMD Announce Joint Development Agreement

IBM and AMD have announced a joint development agreement under which the two companies will be working together to enhance and extend the security and AI offerings of both companies. Through the multi-year joint development agreement, the companies will build upon their existing open-source software, open standards, and open system architectures to drive Confidential Computing in hybrid cloud environments and support a broad range of accelerators across high-performance computing (HPC), and enterprise critical capabilities such as virtualization and encryption.

IBM and AMD researchers are currently engaging with each other to begin the development activities under the agreement.
