Nike, Inc. is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services.
The company has appointed Lauren Sherman a new chief of digital marketing who will be responsible for Nike.com, its application, its running and training clubs and SNKRS. She previously worked as marketing head for brand growth business Red Antler.
Sherman worked over a year at Red Antler in Brooklyn with the brands like Casper, Diageo, Brandless and Birchbox as well acted as chief marketing officer for pre-launch direct-to-consumer clients, helping them with strategic needs.
Sherman announced her new move in Instagram and quoted, “I'm thrilled to be part of this iconic organization and to be doing work that promotes sport and supports athletes.”
Nike recently appointed Michelle Goad as senior director for Nike 1:1 the brand's evolving retail service relationship program based in conversational commerce. She will run the Nike Experts on Demand program which has been piloted on the Nike retail level.
Goad previously was the CEO and Co-Founder of PS Dept, a personal shopping startup that brought together artificial intelligence, chatbot technology and informed stylists.
