Snoop Dogg is officially set to join Call of Duty’s latest season as a guest operator. Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage are said to feature as guest operators soon.
As per reports, Snoop Dogg will officially appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's upcoming season five as a guest player. As part of an in-game celebration of the 50th anniversary of the hip-hop music genre, he will be joined by Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage. In addition to these celebrity shooters, from August 7 to August 16, Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone will give away free hip-hop war tracks.
The first of these three operators to appear in the game will be Snoop Dogg, with the other two following later. Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj's images from Modern Warfare 2 have been made public, but 21 Savage's operator is currently redacted and cannot be viewed.
Activision intends to include previous maps from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in Modern Warfare 2's fifth season. There also seems to be a push for Modern Warfare 3, which appears to be the next game in the series. Activision hasn't confirmed anything, but a number of leaks have suggested as much. Players might experience a slowdown in Modern Warfare 2 content if this does take place. The Call of Duty universe will only keep growing, and part of that expansion will be adding iconic operators like Snoop Dogg.
