NVIDIA has launched a new initiative for the medical AI startups, which will aim to accelerate their success. Called the NVIDIA Inception Alliance for Healthcare, it will help participating startups seek the help of NVIDIA and its healthcare industry partners.
This initiative is an extension to its already existing NVIDIA Inception, an accelerator program for 6,500+ startups across 90 countries in AI and data sciences. The premier members of the program can now also join GE Healthcare Edison Developer Program. Through this integration, these startups will gain access to GE Healthcare’s global network.
The members with FDA clearance can additionally join the Nuance AI Marketplace for Diagnostic Imaging. This marketplace provides AI developers a single API to connect their AI solutions to radiologists across 8,000 healthcare facilities that use Nuance PowerShare Network. “The AI models help radiologists focus their time and expertise on the right case at the right time, alleviate many repetitive, mundane tasks and, ultimately, improve patient care — and save more lives. Connecting NVIDIA Inception startup members to the Nuance AI Marketplace is a natural fit — and creates a connection for startups that benefits the entire industry,” said Karen Holzberger, senior vice president and general manager of the Diagnostic Division, Nuance.
