Q. What motivated you to address the challenges of real estate in lead generation?
The most stressful part of the process is attaining financing to buy your new home. Many companies market the real estate aspect of the industry, but the banks actually control the entire game. I have been in the mortgage industry for about 17 years. The problem with our industry is that 99% of Loan Officers just sit and wait to capitalize on the realtors’ hard work. Once a buyer is located they then hand the buyer to their lending partner to get pre-qualified to buy a house. I simply got tired of depending on others for my success and income. I built Amped Lead Generation to not only get in the game of marketing for buyers, but to dominate the arena. I also felt it would be a welcome change for my realtor partners if I could deliver pre-approved buyers back to them.
Q. How do you see the current market landscape of the real estate sector?
Real estate rarely has a downturn. Even when the financial crash happened in 2008, there were many markets that value was not affected. Even as Covid-19 has slowed down many industries, the real estate market is still hot. People simply always need a place to live, and with the capital markets hitting a slump, the mortgage rates are at an all-time low, and so the refinance boom has hit. At the same time, people are taking advantage of the low rates as they can attain a much higher priced home, and still stay in a monthly payment range they can afford.
Q. How different and difficult is lead generation in the real estate business as compared to other sectors?
Real estate lead generation is very difficult as a million realtors, and many real estate companies are spending billions in capital tomarket for the business. So the ad spend on the real estate side is saturated. The mortgage market was wide open, and it is the most important part of the transaction. No one pays cash for their house. Q. What is the effect of the covid-19 pandemic on the real estate market? How can your clients overcome those challenges with the help of your services?
Covid-19 has changed the economic arena significantly. Millions have lost their jobs, and cannot get approved for a mortgage without a job. We cannot assist those without a job to attain a loan, but we can still advise them on what it will take in the future to get the job done. In other cases, because rates are so low, it has opened up the door to many that could not buy, due to debt ratios, to qualify today.

I have an entire team of very talented people that work with me at Amped.
