Implementing SAP is beneficial to all kinds of businesses, either small or big. Businesses choose SAP for being industry friendly and highly advantageous, to mention a few: Increased productivity, cost efficiency, and consistent operations.
We present to you Bramasol, a Revenue Recognition leader and a recognized SAP Revenue Recognition services partner for companies seeking to comply with and benefit from the new Rev Rec standards. They are SAP-certified experts, partnering with SAP, assisted in the majority of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting Ramp-Up projects. Let’s talk to the man behind Bramasol: Dave Fellers, CEO for further details about the company.
What was the motive behind setting up the firm?
Bramasol was established when SAP wanted to reach mid-market customers indirectly to buy SAP software. It was 5 years ago that the company decided to re-invent itself and concentrate on consulting and services for the office of the CFO.
Bramasol is the leader in SAP compliance and finance transformation services for Office of the CFO, along with revenue accounting, lease and asset management and treasury.
What products and services do you offer? And how do they contribute to your company’s excellence?
Our main focus is on SAP and SAP solutions. We offer furnished solutions for finance transformation projects like Change Management, Business Process Design and Re-engineering, Training, Analytics and Dashboards, Technical and Accounting Advisory, Implementation and Data.
How are you distinct from your competitors and how do you make the most out of it?
Bramasol is highly focused. We are laser focused on supporting only the Office of the CFO and only with SAP products and solutions. We train our people to be experts and leaders in their field. As a result, we have more experience and more expertise than any of our competitors. We use this to differentiate ourselves from companies that only do this as a part of what they do.
How do you bring strong culture to the workplace?
Strong culture in the workplace comes from two things:
Beliefs – a clear vision and clear set of beliefs drives culture. Our vision is to be leaders in Finance Transformation and Innovation working side by side with CFO’s and their teams to help them position the Office of the CFO as strategic advisors and leaders. We believe in a financial revolution, one in which everyone is empowered with analytics and insights that drive competitive advantage. One in which repetitive tasks are automated through RPA and Machine Learning to free people up to provide strategic insights and analysis to drive strategic advantage. Every day we challenge the status quo of existing static reports and dashboards by providing dynamic ones built on a single version of the truth with access to real-time data. We partner with and challenge the Office of the CFO to simplify, automate and transform their processes using SAP Finance Solutions by delivering insight, innovation and outstanding service delivery.
Lead by Example – They say you can’t just “talk the talk” you have to “walk the walk.” We believe that. Our leadership team strives to be role models for how we want to be. We constantly challenge ourselves to learn more and to share that learning with the team. We seek to be the leaders in our field looking for new insights and new ways of simplifying and automating compliance so as to help our clients achieve new levels of competitiveness and to offer their teams a chance to challenge themselves to be better.
What are your focus areas while providing the best possible service?
What does Bramasol do to increase employee engagement and productivity?
We motivate our employees by giving them a great environment in which to work and an opportunity to make a difference with their clients. We encourage innovation and reward outcomes that result in better outcomes for our clients and better outcomes for our people.
What goals do you have to enhance customer experience?
We are always seeking to do better in all areas of our communications and delivery. Even when projects are going well, they can always be better. It is our goal to make every customer a referenceable customer.
Share with us how a strong culture is important to client interaction?
Our culture is one that rewards innovation, intellectual curiosity, hard work and team work. Our clients recognize this and appreciate what we bring to the table. Because of our expertise and desire to push the envelope our clients receive tremendous value and they appreciate this.
What do you believe are the biggest factors impacting Bramasol and your industry?
I think there are three big areas that will have a huge impact on the software industry and delivery of software based innovations:
Security and Risk – this is an increasing issue and challenge globally. Whether it is securing data from hacking or aligning with principles based rules such as GDPR the Office of the CFO will be at the forefront. This is also related to compliance – I don’t see a trend towards fewer compliance rules, rather more. And as they proliferate the will become more complex and require more work.
Cloud – the migration to “cloud” is inevitable, but it is not a sure one nor a straight-forward one. Customers will need to understand the benefits and challenges of working in the cloud including security. And, since cloud solutions require, by their nature, minimal customization, both clients and consulting teams will need to fundamentally change how projects are defined, delivered and supported. This will include massive simplification of process while creating new challenges for users.
Data – All of this creates a massive proliferation of data. There is more data created in an hour today, than the whole of human content upto the 1800’s. Managing and getting use out of this data is an enormous task. Realtime databases such as SAP HANA help enable this, but people’s thinking will need to change and our approach to leveraging and securing data will be critical.
