Cloud4Wi: Tapping into the world of customer location data

Today, increased competition for customer attention is the key driver of digital transformation. But companies are struggling to win the challenging battle of securing customers and are aware that they have to meet customer expectations if they want to stay ahead of the game. Customers want to interact with companies in a personalized and consistent manner across all the channels. This means that companies have to achieve a cohesive engagement strategy through a 360-degree view of each customer.

In the digital world, it’s easy for companies to gather valuable customer insights, such as: who they are, what they’re searching for, and how much time they spend browsing. In the physical world, on the other hand, companies have traditionally been at a disadvantage when it comes to knowing customers because it’s nearly impossible to know each person that walks into a location. Customer location data represents a powerful means to build a powerful omnichannel strategy by building relevant journeys that resonate with customers. Andrea Calcagno, CEO and Co-Founder, decided to start Cloud4Wi with his co-founder when they realized that there was an opportunity to bring an easy solution to understand customer behaviors in the physical world.

Cloud4Wi’s platform for location services is the ultimate tool for designing breakthrough journeys that resonate with customers. It is allowing companies to drive loyalty and revenue. Using customer location data collected through Cloud4Wi, the companies can send perfectly targeted messages to the right customers at the right moment – at the right time and place. Cloud4Wi offers 50+ ready-to-use connectors that help companies bring customer location data into their existing marketing tools in just a few clicks. Many leading innovative companies rely on Cloud4Wi. Major Cloud4Wi clients include Burger King, Campari Group, Carmila (Carrefour Group), Guess, The Cordish Companies, Valentino, and many others.

We recently interviewed Mr. Calcagno to know more about the company’s work. Read on for the excerpts from the interview.

To remain relevant in today’s fashion retail world, adopting the right technology solution to create personalized customer journeys is key.
