Timeline
Started in 1996, Intralinks was launched as an application service provider. A year later, Intralinks launched the first SaaS loan syndication platform. A couple of years later, in 2000, the SaaS platform was validated for use in drug discovery. In 2002, the company had another breakthrough with the first M&A virtual data room was rolled out. A decade after its launch, Intralinks was the successful company in the industry to integrate information rights management (IRM).
In 2009, Intralinks rolled out the 3rd generation platform with metadata, complex entitlements, and workflow. It also had other advanced capabilities. In 2012, a simplified UIX option to support an enterprise-wide option. The next year, the largest online deal sourcing platform- Deal Nexus was launched, followed by the industry’s first plugin-free IRM.
Two decades since its inception, Intralinks distributed content nodes to deliver geographically controlled life storage and processing. Prior to this, the company came out with the first ever integrated customer-managed key service. In 2017, Intralinks released the industry’s first context-aware large-scale Wealth Management AI reporting solution. Later in 2018, SS&C acquired Intralinks. Today, the company stands proud of having 99% of the Fortune 1000 working under it.

Leif O’Leary, CEO and Director
Leif, who is refocusing Intralinks on its primary assets and energizing the organization to write its next chapter, brings with him more than 20 years of cross-functional, global experience in technology. As CEO, he is responsible for all aspects of Intralinks’ strategy and business operations.
Previously, Leif served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at the company. In that role, he was responsible for leading the organization through its transition to a privately-owned business. Prior to that, he managed all aspects of the company’s ability to identify and deliver business value through the Intralinks solution portfolio as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services.
Prior to joining Intralinks in 2013, Leif was Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations at Parametric Technology Corporation. Before PTC, he worked as a Regional Sales Manager at ADP. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
