Q. How did you come up with the idea of this business?
I had helped co-found an industrial security company in 2010. I continued to work myfull-time job while growing that business in the evenings and on the weekends. For over nine years,I devoted my time to building the company and found it to be a true delight. But I found that it was very difficult for many people to understand the service that the company was providing. Many confused it with physical or cybersecurity. I worked with multiple marketing companies to create a strategy, develop content, gain exposure, and acquire accolades. With this, I discovered it to be more fun rather than work to celebrate and acknowledge the accomplishments of the successes of the employees and of the company.
In 2020, I was presented with the opportunity to launch my own company that would focus on this true passion. I am looking forward to helping companies and people show the world who the true heroes are – my clients.
Q. How is J. Robbins Enterprises out of the ordinary?
J. Robbins Enterprises offers its clients unique opportunities to assist with distinguishing businesses by focusing on features and/or benefits that solve a problem, satisfy a need, or alleviates their customers’ pain. We started offering general consulting at the request of our clients and colleagues. Our multi-disciplinary experience and exposure to business promotes inspiration and vision. Meet the Leader
Jeanne A. Travis, President and CEO
Jeanne is a leader with over 15 years of consulting and IT project management experience. Prior to founding J. Robbins Enterprises, she helped co-found an industrial security company, Industrial Security Integrators LLC (IsI), in 2010. During her tenure at IsI, she served the company as the firm’s CTO and later as the President. She began her career as a High School Mathematics teacher.
She has a BS in Mathematics and minors in Psychology and Education from Virginia Tech.
