The Origin Story

The Nebo Company is named after Lake Nebo, a hidden lake in the Adirondack Mountains. In this pristine setting, the company's founder, Kate Ebner, experienced an unforgettable sense of deep connection, creativity, and inner peace as a child. Leaving the lake, she wondered how to hold onto that feeling of inspiration in everyday life. Over time, Kate discovered that most people have a place or memory that inspires deep peace, renewal, and self-confidence. She asked how we can access that inner balance in our busy and demanding lives. How can our 'nebo' experiences continue to ground our leadership, even when we are not at our nebo? How do we carry that feeling with us?

She is the creator of Nebo's proven visioning process. As a result of her work in this area, countless leaders have succeeded in translating vision into action leading to results. Kate blends deep experience as a change leader with a lifelong commitment to helping people and organizations to make their dreams real. After more than two decades of leading organizations firsthand, she knows the challenges that leaders face.
