Business Excellence Awards 2019
CIO Bulletin
IoT can be considered as a leader who can sharpen our lives in many ways. With the help of IoT, those devices that have never been connected get connected and respond similar to what smart devices does. Businesses will be able to leverage IoT technology to collect valuable data, stay ahead of the competition and drive innovation.
Adesto founded in the year 2007 is the best provider of creative, application-specific semiconductors and embedded systems that include the necessary building blocks of Internet of Things (IoT) edge devices that function on networks globally.
The semiconductors this company provides will advance the connected IoT devices that are particularly utilized in communications, consumer, industrial and medical applications. The devices are unique comparatively in terms of reliability, efficiency, integrated intelligence and cost effectiveness.
The firm’s portfolio comprises of everything right from IoT servers, routers, nodes, to analog, digital and non-volatile memory (NVM) technologies.
The organization’s specialities include: Non-volatile memory, Serial Flash, CBRAM, DataFlash, Mixed-signal and RF ASICs, Mixed-signal and RIP, Power Line Communications, Communications Chipsets, Control chipsets, and Edge Servers.
Adesto Applications
We have all witnessed transformations in connected computers and connected people. All connections are getting digital these days like intelligent roads, buildings, and infrastructure will lead us to a smarter, healthier, and more efficient world.
Adesto’s technologies make this a possibility. Its customers embed its innovative technologies in their solutions to enable seamless access to data and control of things in the connected world.
Embedded systems: The company’s embedded systems products will facilitate OEM’s application developers, and integrators to briskly build unique and interoperable solutions that meet the needs of IIoT like industrial-strength reliability, autonomous control, and legacy protocol.
Custom ASICs & IP: Adesto has many years’ experience in implementing full-custom industrial system-on-chip (SoC) designs, achieving as much as 80% bill of materials reductions for customers. What’s more, because the company optimizes both at block and system level, its chips deliver the lowest total system power consumption and area, while delivering the best performance. Its integrated approach makes reverse engineering exceptionally impractical, thereby protecting your intellectual property.
Application-Specific Memories: Manufacturers and farmers can now gather and analyze massive quantities of data, helping them measure everything from soil acidity to machine efficiency. But these advantages could be wiped out by the simple cost of changing batteries. Adesto’s breakthrough technology drives down energy use and provides smart, application-specific non-volatile memory solutions for data-logging in industrial applications.
Adesto is in news for:
Adesto, through its recent acquisition of Echelon Corporation, has been selling its Open Embedded IoT Platform into the building automation and energy management industry for over two decades. Adesto’s SmartServer™ IoT edge server platform features built-in device and data management for sensors, meters, actuators and controllers in buildings, through various emerging and traditional protocols including BACnet, LonWorks™, Modbus, and others.
The IBM Watson IoT Platform is a managed, cloud-hosted service designed to make it simple to derive value from IoT devices. It enables organizations to capture and explore data for devices, equipment, and machines, and discover insights that can drive better decision-making.
