NewWays of Tracking, Receiving and Picking up Amazon Holiday Orders

Holidays can be quite a busy time of the year. To make the holiday season memorable, Amazon is offering more options to its customers to track, receive, and pick up Amazon orders. These features will make the holiday season ‘spoiler-free’ for customers, according to Amazon.

First, Amazon is now offering live tracking so that the customer can view the progress of their delivery on a map in real-time when the driver is close. Amazon Share Tracking, on the other hand, gives a customer the option to send tracking info to friends and family so that they know when their package is arriving.

To ensure that customers are receiving their packages, Amazon Photo-On-Delivery provides visual delivery confirmation. It does so by showing the customers that their package has been delivered and where the driver placed it through a photo. Amazon Estimated Delivery Window provides customers with a 2-4 hour estimated delivery window. All these features are available on the Amazon app.

John Felton, Vice President of Amazon Global Delivery Services, said: “We’re helping customers keep their orders a surprise this year and have a number of ways we’re providing them more flexibility, control and convenience over their deliveries—whether that’s ordering to an alternative pickup location, tracking their package en route to their home, or consolidating their deliveries to a single day so they can plan ahead.”
