New plans from Dubai! The country plans to build the world’s largest mall. Dubai is planning to spend around $2 billion on this project. The location where the mall is about to come up is the Dubai Creek Harbour. Currently, the second largest mall in the world is the Dubai Mall, when calculated by land area and the new retail project will be twice the size of the Dubai Mall.
The mall will stand on a land that is 8 million square feet in size. Once finished, the mall will be a center of attraction where big shows, concerts can be hosted with 3D projection mapping. Movie theatres, water parks, and a sports arena are given for this mega-mall.
The mega mall will span over a size of over 100 soccer fields. A spokesperson from Emaar Properties said: “Dubai Square pushes the boundaries of modern retail and leisure by drawing on next-generation technology.” The Dubai Creek Harbour is being developed by Emaar Properties jointly along with Dubai Holding. He further said that the new mall will be for the new era of the customer, who is digital, connected and, tech-savvy.
