IBM and AWS have announced a collaboration that will see the companies work together to secure hybrid cloud environments. The companies jointly announced new technology initiatives that will leverage AWS and help clients extend their security visibility across hybrid cloud environments.
These days, businesses are increasingly leveraging the hybrid cloud operations and struggle to protect the increasingly diverse and complex IT environments. They require security solutions to streamline and modernize their security operations for the hybrid cloud era. Integrated offerings from leading security and cloud leaders like IBM and AWS can help make this happen.
"IBM Security is focused on an open approach, allowing for deeper connections and visibility across the broader security, cloud and IT ecosystem," said AartiBorkar, Vice President, IBM Security. "Working with cloud providers like AWS is a critical part of this equation, helping provide a more seamless client experience in order to reduce security complexity for customers as they move further into the cloud."
Apart from extending visibility and insights into most critical issues across AWS environments, the companies are together looking to simplify and accelerate threat investigation across AWS workloads and reduce the complexity and manage the overall security posture via IBM Security Services.
