Strategic Move Enhances Wireless Capabilities and Expands Market Reach
Boldyn Networks has announced the completion of its acquisition of Apogee Telecom, a leading provider of on-campus connectivity infrastructure in the US Higher Education (HED) industry. This strategic move enhances Boldyn's connectivity offerings in the growing education segment by integrating Apogee’s established reputation and expertise with Boldyn’s global wireless and fiber solutions.
Apogee, known for its managed wireless residential and campus networks, IT solutions, fiber infrastructure services, and video services, serves over 350 HED customers. This acquisition positions Boldyn to continue and expand these services, reinforcing its commitment to improving connectivity across the US, where it has already invested billions of dollars.
Igor Leprince, Group CEO of Boldyn Networks, highlighted the synergy: “The acquisition of Apogee allows Boldyn to bring enhanced wireless capabilities to the US Higher Education segment. Apogee’s 25 years of experience and exceptional reputation ensure we support US institutions with the necessary technology infrastructure for today’s digital learning environments.”
Apogee will now operate under Boldyn’s US organization, reporting to Christos Karmis. This acquisition strengthens Boldyn’s expertise and commitment to a connected future, enabling innovative communication infrastructures across diverse sectors including education, smart cities, and public venues.
