The French retail giant Casino Group has announced that it will be expanding the partnership with Amazon in France. Last year the Group had partnered with Amazon to launch Monoprix on Amazon Prime Now.
The partnership will see the Amazon locate 1,000 Casino Group stores located across France. The partnership will also bring Casino Group’s products on amazon.fr and the Amazon app. Casino Group’s products which fall under categories ‘daily’, ‘fresh’, ‘premium’, ‘organic,’ and ‘wine’ will now be available on Amazon.
Jean-Charles Naouri, CEO of Casino Group said: “With this new partnership, we will be able to offer the greatest number of customers the best products and services whenever and wherever they wish. This announcement represents a new step in strengthening Casino's omnichannel strategy to always be a little more in the heart of consumers' lives.”
Further, the company has said that Monoprix will be extending its partnership with Prime Now. The partnership will now extend beyond the limits of the Paris area. The partnership will bring great collection from Monoprix to Prime Now customers in new cities over the course of the next 12 months. These customers will be able to get their orders in as little as two hours for their selected address.
