Walmart is redefining how groceries are delivered to you. With the launch of Delivery Unlimited, Walmart is now expanding delivery and pickup efforts, which will now be unlimited. When you sign up for Unlimited Delivery, you don’t have to pay the pre-order fee.
Previously, customers who ordered online had a similar delivery service from Walmart. They could have their items shipped to their nearest store for free of cost- where they could pick it up. Or, the items would be home delivered with a delivery fee of $9.95 for every order. Now, for the Delivery Unlimited, customers will be charged $98 a year. Or they could sign up for monthly subscription costing $12.95.
The trend around easy deliveries is hitting retail giants all over the country. After signing up for Delivery Unlimited, customers can simply place their orders on the site or on the app. Next, they only need to select a delivery window and their preferable time of delivery.
This isn’t the first time that Walmart is introducing delivery services. Walmart also has a one-day shipping for orders above $35, a number of pickup towers in its stores, and even in-home delivery services- allowing employees to stock up your refrigerator with groceries.
